Dariia Bila, the author of the “Mr. Pillow” children’s books series, and her team are launching the “Mr. Pillow for Every Child” charity initiative. The idea is to provide pillows to children in Ukrainian orphanages and in difficult life circumstances.
Starting from October 11, 2023, on Mr. Pillow’s official website, 10% of all purchased goods will be transferred to the initiative on an ongoing basis. The Mr. Pillow team will also attract friends and partners to create collaborations and events to support the project.
What will the children get?
In each institution for children, the Mr. Pillow team will hold a master class, during which children will get their own pillow in a cotton cover, on which they can draw their Mr. Pillow. Institutions for children will also receive a set of books and coloring pages about Mr. Pillow’s adventures.
“Mr. Pillow” is a children’s book series about the hero’s exciting adventures. Each book series comes with themed coloring pages, with which children can continue to dive deep into Mr. Pillow’s world.
The first book, “Mr. Pillow and the Stars,” was printed during the war and not only visited the international book fair, Frankfurter Buchmesse but is already loved by Ukrainian children, whom the author and her hero, aka Super Pillow, often visit within charity events (Kurazh Kyiv, Gen.Ukrainian, Levchyk Spectrum Hub).
In September 2023, the second story about the hero “Mr. Pillow and Button Whale” was published.
